We continue with the Brute & Babe Pin-Up Project,  which features original Brute & Babe art by a diverse array of  spectacular comic artists. The original illustrations are being offered  as rewards, so you can own these one-of-a-kind art treasures. Our first  batch of super-cool Brute & Babe pin-ups come from renowned creators Robert Atkins, Meghan Hetrick, Aaron Lopresti, Andy Smith, and Graham Nolan with many more artists to come! 

Today we spotlight Aaron Lopresti, who has worked for both Marvel and DC on many titles, including X-Men, Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel and Wonder Woman. Aaron provided us with this powerful Brute & Babe piece!

This Brute & Babe original art is penciled and inked by Aaron Lopresti, and measures 11 inches by 17 inches. It can be yours for a pledge of $600 or more. The reward also includes both digital and physical copies of Drawing Powerful Heroes: Volume 2, and a print copy of the Blue-Line Drawing Guide.

Hello, Brute Force!

As part of the Drawing Powerful Heroes: Volume 2 campaign, we here at Ominous Press are excited to announce the Brute and Babe Pin-Up Project, featuring original Brute and Babe art by many spectacular comic artists,  illustrating their take on these two influential, popular how-to-draw mascot characters.

This original art will be offered as a reward tier, our first batch of super-cool Brute and Babe pin-ups are from renowned creators Robert Atkins, Meghan Hetrick, Aaron Lopresti, Andy Smith and Graham Nolan with many more artists to come!

We’ll be featuring one artist’s original art every day, today we are presenting the awesome artwork of Robert Atkins! Robert is known for his dynamic artwork on G.I. Joe, Amazing Spider-Man, Ultimate Fantastic Four and many others! Robert is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design and is currently teaching there as Professor of Sequential Art.
